Making sure mental health treatment is there for children and young people, when they need it, as soon as they need it, so that they can get on with living their lives to their fullest potential.

WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR SUPPORT APPLICATIONS

We are currently closed to applications for support due to demand on funding. We very much hope that we can open our application window later in the year, once we have been able to ensure that we can meet the demand. Please continue to check our website and social media platforms for details of when the next application window will open.

If you would like to apply for funding for treatment or support for your child or young person (aged 10-18), you can download the form here. We accept funding applications from families of young people living in and around Crawley. You will have the option to specify a therapist / intervention provider you feel would be of benefit or you can leave that section blank and we will suggest a suitable provider for you. If you need advice on suitable therapy / providers, please feel free to contact us at gethelp@yamhs.co.uk
Applications will need to be signed by a GP or SENCO to confirm that the treatment being funded is required and will benefit the young person. Completed applications can be scanned and sent via email or posted to our business address. If you have difficulty with downloading or printing a copy of the form, please contact us at gethelp@yamhs.co.uk and we will send a hard copy to your address.

We regret that, due to limited resources, we will only be able to make a small number of funding allocations in each round.

It can be difficult to know where to start in finding the right therapy and therapist for your child. Take a look at the information sheets below, which give some information around what's involved in therapy, how to find a counsellor and what you can expect. The BACP and UKCP websites also have lists of registered counsellors / therapists where you can search for a therapist who deals with particular age groups and issues.
If you'd like more information around how to support or where to get help, please contact us.
