Making sure mental health treatment is there for children and young people, when they need it, as soon as they need it, so that they can get on with living their lives to their fullest potential.

Parent Support Group
Footlights Room
@ The Hawth
Saturdays 9.30-11.30am

Funded by the William Reed and Boltini Funds at Sussex Community Foundation,  the group is a peer-support group, where parents and carers will have the chance to meet and talk about the issues they have in supporting their child with mental ill health in a supportive and confidential environment, with people who get it.   We know how isolating mental ill health can be and the massive strain it can have on the whole family. This group will provide a safe space where parents and carers can drop in any time we are there and know that they will not be judged. There is no need to book, just come along.   Sessions will take place every Saturday morning from 9.30-11.30 in the Footlights Room at the Hawth. There is unlimited free parking, and free refreshments will be provided. Some signposting services will also be available, with the group being facilitated by our experienced volunteers.

Let us know what you think...

Our support group for parents and carers was launched in January, with the aim of providing a safe space for parents and carers of young people with mental ill heath to talk and get support. We'd like to know what you would find most helpful so that we can make sure what we're doing meets your needs.
You can fill in this quick survey in less than 3 minutes and all responses will remain completely anonymous.
